Capybara Onsen Merge Priority

A repeatable order for every session after the first hour.

Merge Priority

Merge priority is the mid-game and late-game rank list. You already know how to buy a Capybara. You already deposited Yuzu once. Now the shop, the boxes, and the merge button compete for the same tap. This page picks a winner for each tap.

Pair it with the merge guide and the merge planner. The planner is the interactive version of the table below.

The session order

PriorityActionSkip if
1Deposit every Yuzu pileThe floor is already clean
2Open every Lucky BoxNo box is visible after a walk
3Merge one ready pairNo matching pair exists
4Buy a single refillA pair or a box is still waiting
5Expand the OnsenEvery Capybara already has a pad

Do not reorder this because a neighbor on the server bought a wing. Their Money is not your Money.

Why boxes sit above merges

A Lucky Box can complete a pair or replace a pair. If you merge first, you may consume the last copy of a tier the box was about to give you. Opening first is cheap information. The Lucky Box page is the long form of this paragraph.

Why deposits sit above everything

Shop prices and expansion prices are paid in Money. Money comes from Yuzu. A merge that happens while fruit is on the ground is a merge you cannot afford to follow with a refill. Bank first. The Yuzu economy page repeats this because players still forget.

Double-merge caution

After one merge, stop. Watch the new tier drop Yuzu. A second merge in the same breath can empty the Onsen. Empty Onsens look high-tier and earn like a tutorial. Place a refill only after the new unit proves it works.

Codes and shutdowns

If a code lands, treat the reward as a deposit you did not walk for. Spend it at priority 3 or 4, not on decorations. The codes hub stays empty until a string is real.

If a shutdown lands, restart at priority 1. Patches can move boxes and reset timers. Latest notes may change a price; they should not change this order unless Dojo Empire rewrites the loop.

Priority when two pairs are ready

Merge the pair that has already paid you more Yuzu, then stop. The other pair will still be there after you watch the new tier work. Merging both at once is how you create an empty bath with two high tiers and no refill Money.

If you cannot tell which pair paid more, deposit first. The HUD will answer.

Late-game shape

Late game is the same table with slower shop refills and more walking. A larger Onsen hides more boxes. Add a full walk to priority 2. If you cannot scan the map, your rank list is lying to you. Fix controls or shrink the camera, not the table.

When you want the compact philosophy, return to the tier list hub. When you want the first-hour version, return to early-game ranks. When you want the roster, open the Capybara list.

Priority is a kindness to future you. The player who deposits first always looks luckier.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What should I do first each Capybara Onsen session?

Deposit Yuzu, then open Lucky Boxes, then merge, then buy. Expand only if a unit has no pad.

Why not merge before opening Lucky Boxes?

A box can complete or replace the pair you were about to consume. Opening first is free information.

Can I merge twice in a row?

You can, but watch the new tier drop Yuzu before the second merge so the Onsen does not go empty.
